This website provides resource material for students learning HTML for Web Design at SCOLA. There are exercises from the Exercise Book used in class, as well as table layouts, examples of students' work and useful references.
All web pages are written in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language): this site was created in the basic text editor Notepad.
HTML files contain tags which indicate structure and formatting, and text, the visible content of the web page.
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) can be used to apply formatting.
HTML for Web Design at SCOLA is an introduction to web design using HTML in Notepad. Students can develop their skills with courses in Dreamweaver, a visual editor for web design, and Digital Design classes.
